I am an assistant professor at the Department of Computing (DECOM) of the Federal Technology University of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG), Brazil. I hold BSc (2005), MSc (2007), and D.Sc (2013) degrees in computer science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
I work in the fields of machine learning, recommender systems, and information retrieval. I am member of the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Research on Multimedia Information (PiimLab).
